Who
REVEL mentors are students and community members who are energetic, positive role models who help provide guidance and a fun time for our REVELers.
VOLUNTEER
- Invest in your community and make an impact.
SPECIAL INTEREST
- Lead a class in yoga, art, etc.
- Support our therapeutic recreation instructors during our Outdoor Adventure Camps
INTERN
- Earn credit
- Gain experience working with neurodiverse population
- Weekly training on relevant topics to the field
- Work with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) and receive weekly supervision from Program Managers and master-level behavior consultants
- Apply academic concepts for increased relevance of schoolwork
*Need to have own reliable transportation
Commitment
Minimum of 1⁄2 day shifts*
9am-12pm
12pm-3pm
3pm-6pm
*Unless the day/activity you signed up for is an all-day event
- Drop-in scheduling is available
- Day, evening, and weekend hours available
- Visit our monthly calendar for all of our upcoming events
- Supervised by Program Supervisor not by BCBA
What You’ll Do As A Mentor
A REVEL mentor facilitates meaningful experiences for REVELers by building connections, supporting activities, helping where needed, and honoring REVELer values and agency.
All mentors are required to go through REVEL’s mentor training process and must pass a background check. Mentors will be closely supervised and supported throughout their time at REVEL.
